Ken Myers, from Leeds in northern England, is not making an attempt to preserve money - and claims he has been recycling the very　same card given that 1979 as a "unique way of declaring 'I enjoy you'".

The 71-year-previous novelist writes a new cryptic communication on the inside of the card each year, before giving it to his wife Valerie, the Yorkshire Night Publishdocumented overnight.

The card reads "Happy Valentine's Day to my Spouse" and demonstrates a cartoon picture boston-bruins Jerseys of a youthful boy supplying his beloved a heart tied to a catapult.

Mr Myers explained, "I sent the card to NHL Jerseys Wholesale Valerie in 1979, and then once again in 1980. Following that, I just carried on simply because it was a novelty. I like to consider I am a romantic husband".

He stated, "I feel Valerie would be disappointed if I arrived back again 1 calendar year with a diverse card. It's become a household heirloom".
